Delegates invited from Pacific Island nations are meeting in Brisbane from 3-5 July, prior to ICED, to focus on the experiences, learnings, challenges and solutions for Deaf and hard of hearing people living in the Pacific Island Countries. This event is supported by the Pacific Disability Forum.
A limited number of additional places are available to other ICED delegates with commitment to development initiatives in the Pacific region or other developing countries.
Pasifika Connections will be held in seminar rooms at the Royal Brisbane Hospital close to the ICED venue. Participants will be asked to pay a modest fee to contribute to the cost of catering.

Selection for successful registration is dependent on responses to the following: (One page maximum)
- Explanation of your current role and background in the Pacific or other developing countries
- How your attendance could contribute to development initiatives in the Pacific region
Numbers will be finalised and successful applicants notified by 1 May 2020.
